Composer Kenji Katoh’s music combines cutting-edge synths with cinematic orchestral writing characterized by his sleek modern sensibilities.

His eclectic credits include the Netflix original drama The Forest of Love and Amazon Prime original series Tokyo Vampire Hotel by world-renowned director Sion Sono, the multiple award-winning indie feature Parallel (Grand Jury Prize, Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival among others), AAA games such as Gran Turismo 7 and DRAGON BALL FighterZ (over 8 million units in sales worldwide), and the television series Shounen Ashibe: Go! Go! Goma-chan based on the hit comic series that sold more than 20 million copies and became a cultural phenomenon in Japan.

Many of Kenji’s music is released from Universal Production Music and EMI/KPM, and is featured worldwide in television shows and commercials on ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, and the BBC among other major networks.

He is currently composing for several unannounced films and AAA video game titles, and is producing an AI-assisted music composing system in partnership with Sony Computer Science Laboratories.
