Kenji Katoh | Composer

Kenji Katoh is a Japanese composer whose work centers on emotionally driven storytelling across anime, feature films, and games. With a strong foundation in film scoring, he creates atmospheric, expressive music shaped by narrative, character, and dramatic nuance, blending modern orchestral writing with modular synth textures and shoegaze guitars.

His credits include Netflix’s Tokyo Override, Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO, Honor of Kings, the feature film Six Singing Women, Parallel (winner of the Grand Prix at the Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival), and global placements through EMI KPM and UPM.

With experience directing large-scale orchestral sessions both on site and remotely, he is currently scoring an unannounced Japanese animated feature and an upcoming large-scale game project.
